In this unique marriage proposal the guy wrapped up the ring inside a tiny box, which was in turn wrapped inside a sweet wrapper. You still have the element of surprise without the risk of choking!

Some blokes can’t get past their hobbies and will often try and combine what they love with the proposal – often it is not something that their other half loves. Get creative like one comic book illustrator geek did. He created a comic strip that when folded in the correct manner showed a hidden message. Obviously the hidden message was ‘will you marry me?’ This guy used his passion to create a labour of love for his love.

Throughout time the artist has painted pictures of his loved ones that have gone on to be famous and expensive works of arts. Some artists did nothing but paint their wives and girlfriends. How do you turn a love of art into a proposal? Set up an exhibition, of course. Enlisting the help of his girlfriend’s best mate this creative guy put a photo in a special photography exhibition that his girlfriend went around. When she arrived at the photo all it was a picture of him with a placard that said ‘turn around’. When she did, he was stood there with an almost identical placard that read ‘will you marry me’?
Creating a truly unique and inventive proposal can be tough but if you can combine the proposal with hobby or love of yours you will find that the ideas will just flood out of you. If you really love creating the proposal and the sentiment is bound with love for you partner you can hardly go wrong. A special moment deserves to be remembered for the rest of your life – and the day you propose is just as special as your wedding day.
